BJP and Congress are repeatedly claiming that BRS is fighting for its existence in Telangana after the hammering loss in the assembly elections. Since the loss in the Telangana polls, BRS lost several of its leaders including sitting MP Venkatesh, ex-MLAs T Rajaiah, Patnam Mahender Reddy, and others.
But going by Telangana BJP firebrand Bandi Sanjay’s statement, the exodus of BRS leaders is still likely to be in progress. Bandi Sanjay publicly stated today that 8 BRS MLAs and 5 sitting MPs are in touch with Telangana BJP leadership and they are waiting for BJP’s nod to join the party.
Bandi went a step ahead and said Telangana BJP is ready to admit even BRS veteran, Harish Rao if he wants to join the party.
Bandi Sanjay spoke about the rumors of a possible alliance between BRS and BJP for the Lok Sabha elections and he clarified that there is no way this is going to happen.
“We didn’t let KCR join NDA while the party was in power itself, why will we let his party join NDA now after his humiliation?” Bandi Sanjay remarked.
