YS Family’s Biggest Rival In Pulivendula Joins Jagan Camp

Pulivendula has been a fortress of the YS family over the last few decades, but there was one man who fought relentlessly against the YS family and he is SV Satish Kumar Reddy. Satish has been rivaling the YS family since 90’s and he unsuccessfully contested against YS family candidates on 5 different occasions since 1999. More than winning the electoral battle, Satish’s resolute to take on the YS family in Pulivendula was noted by one and all.

After so much rivalry, Satish Kumar Reddy has decided to put an end to the unrelenting battle as he joined YSR Congress in the presence of Jagan today. This is a significant move in the Pulivendula constituency as the main rival of the YS household has joined Jagan’s camp.

After meeting Jagan, Satish said “Jagan doesn’t need my support as he can single-handedly win by 90K votes majority even if I work with the best of my capabilities against him. But he was still considerate and warm enough to invite me to join his party even after I worked against the YS family for 27 years. I will work under Jagan’s leadership from now on.”

After the defeat from Pulivendula in 2019, Satish quit TDP in 2020. Later, TDP announced B Tech Ravi as its candidate against Jagan for the 2024 election. Satish, who stayed away from politics for the last 4 years has joined Jagan’s camp now.
