‘Memu Candidates List Siddham Chesam’ AP BJP

Andhra Pradesh BJP wing is keeping everyone guessing about whether or not they will join Telugu Desam Party and Janasena to form a triangular alliance. While TDP and JSP are holding back a certain number of seats for BJP, the saffron party has operated on its own and prepared a comprehensive list of 175 MLAs and 25 MPs. 

BJP Central leader Shiv Prakash came to Andhra Pradesh two days ago and sat down for multiple meetings with the local leaders and the AP BJP wing president Daggubati Purandeswari. After the conclusion of this meeting, Purandeswari debriefed the media and said the party had prepared the list of 175 MLAs and 25 MPs. 

‘We discussed the political situation and party prospects in the state with the presidents and chief leaders of 26 districts. We have prepared a list of candidates for contesting in 175 Assembly and 25 MP seats. Alliances will be announced by our central leaders.

The parliamentary committee will review and finalize the candidates. Our next course of action will depend on the decision of the national leadership.’ Purandeswari told media. “Memu candidates list siddham chesam” were her exact words in Telugu.

If BJP really had prepared 25 MP seats, why wasn’t even a single one announced by the center in the recent 1st list announcement? BJP seems to be playing hard-to-get with TDP, considering their history, but time is running out for everyone involved. A decision has to be made and it has to be made immediately, a season political analyst reacted to this situation.
