Was Kotamreddy Ragged By YCP MLAs In Assembly?

Former Nellore YSRCP firebrand Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy left Jagan’s camp and joined Telugu Desam ahead of the election. The senior declared war against Jagan as he announced his intention to sweep out YCP in the Nellore district. But the transition from YCP to TDP wasn’t a very smooth one for Kotamreddy, as he reportedly faced criticism from YCP MLAs inside the assembly hall.

Another YCP defiant MLA, Vasantha Krishna Prasad, made a shocking revelation today, stating that Kotamreddy was literally ragged and abused in the assembly.

‘During a assembly session, Kotamreddy was cornered by 5-6 YCP MLAs inside the house. They started abusing him with slurs that can’t even be discussed here. He was kept in the center surrounded by YCP MLAs who kept abusing him with disgusting words. Kotamreddy Anna silently bore the verbal assault with dismayed body language. It was extremely unparliamentary and inhumane to even see the kind of horror he was put through. I then pleaded with our whip Srikanth Reddy to stop the MLAs, and he came to the rescue and sent away the abusive MLAs.’
