Raghu Rama Krishna Raju’s candidacy from Narsapuram constituency is going to be one of the most looked-upon mini battles in the election season. His unapologetic rivalry with Jagan Mohan Reddy and YSR Congress, the intense verbal exchanges over the last four and a half years, and his recent departure from YCP have added up to the anticipation on this Lok Sabha campaign.
According to the latest update, RRR has reportedly confirmed that he is joining the Telugu Desam Party and he is contesting in the Lok Sabha election.
RRR is set to retain the Narsapuram Lok Sabha ticket once he joins Telugu Desam which shouldn’t take too long. Considering that he shares very good diplomatic ties with both BJP and Janasena it could mean that him securing the Narsapuram Lok Sabha ticket will be in the good interests of all the parties involved in the alliance.
The head-on battle between RRR and YCP in Narsapuram will be keenly observed by the public, considering how RRR critiqued Jagan over the last four years on an almost daily basis.
On a related note, BJP is likely to secure the Eluru Lok Sabha ticket and Sujana Chowdary could be contesting from here. This could be one of the 5-6 Lok Sabha segments that BJP is planning to contest.
The seat distribution aspect of the alliance is in the final stage now with BJP central stalwart Gajendra Singh Shekawat interacting with Pawan Kalyan and Chandrababu Naidu. More clarity will emerge very soon.
