With the BJP giving nod to join the TDP-Jana Sena alliance, AIMIM president Asaduddin Owaisi said that minorities and Dalits would not vote for the TDP coalition.
Owaisi also questioned the rationale behind TDP supremo N. Chandrababu Naidu forging an alliance with the BJP now even while terming Narendra Modi as a terrorist in the past.
“I could not understand why did Naidu support the NDA in the past and then walked out of it.”
He said that the minorities, Adivasis, Dalits and Christians would not vote for the TDP-JS alliance.
The votebank of these four communities will play a decisive role in the victory of political parties in Andhra Pradesh, he said.
Further, he revealed that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy was a close friend to him and clarified that their friendship is still close to his heart.
Addressing mediapersons at Darussalam, MIM party headquarters in Hyderabad, he said that he had not taken any decision over contesting elections in neighbouring Andhra Pradesh.
Touching upon the CAA, he said that the MIM was always against it. He reminded that the Telangana Assembly had also adopted a resolution against the CAA and hoped the present Congress government would also follow suit..
