Breaking: ED Raids At Kavitha’s House

BRS’s key leader and MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha has been under the Enforcement Directorate’s radar over the last few months after she is facing allegations of getting monetary and property gains in the Delhi Liquor scam. She recently approached the Supreme Court against ED’s multiple notices asking to appear for investigation.

But the ED sleuths took a major step forward as they knocked on the doors of Kavitha’s newly built house in Hyderabad today.

ED sleuths are raiding the house that belongs to Kavitha and are investigating to see if any of her properties can be traced back to the Delhi Liquor scam. 10 ED officials are divided into 4 groups and are carrying out the raids at Kavitha’s house. Apart from the house in Hyderabad, the ED sleuths are reportedly raiding other properties that belong to the Kalvakuntla lady.

The timing of these ED raids is such that they come a month before the general election.

Meanwhile, the Supreme Court today adjourned the hearing till March 19 on Kavitha’s plea against ED summons in connection with the Delhi excise policy irregularities case.
