Telangana politics have started to heat up as the Lok Sabha elections are on the horizon. CM Revanth Reddy stated that he has opened one gate for BRS MLAs who are raring to join Congress and this was followed by BRS MLA Danam Nagender joining Congress.

Today, BRS MLA Padi Kaushik Reddy complained to Telangana Legislative Assembly Speaker Gaddam Prasad about Danam Nagender winning on the BRS ticket but later joining Congress. He called for disciplinary action and the consequent suspension of Danam Nagender. After submitting the written petition against Danam, Kaushik Reddy interacted with the media and he gave a verbal warning to Revanth Reddy.

“Iyyala nuvvu kottinav… memu theeskunnam… repu memu kottinappudu nuvvu lekakunda aithav Revanth Reddy” Kaushik Reddy warned Revanth Reddy. This was a verbal apprehension from the BRS MLA to warn Revanth about the consequences of inviting BRS MLAs to join Congress.

Congress party activists on social media are reciprocating Kaushik’s warning by saying KCR did the same thing and on an even larger scale after the 2014, 19 election. They are asking where were these questioning leaders when KCR brought Congress MLAs into BRS and merged the Congress Legislative party in BRS in 2019.
