Vijayawada ex-MP Kesineni Nani is a man who wears his heart on his sleeve and he has no filters while explaining his political ideology. He shifted from TDP to YSR Congress two months ago and is officially announced as the party candidate from Vijayawada Lok Sabha segment.
When asked if YCP was desperate to secure his services after failing to win the Vijayawada Lok Sabha seat in two attempts (2014-19), Kesineni had an interesting to remark.
‘It is a two-way thing. YCP wanted a good candidate, and at the same time, Chandrababu Naidu and Lokesh sent me into YCP by playing foul tricks. I am a straightforward man and my image is one the raise. Chandrababu doesn’t like to see other Kammas rise in TDP and sees them as his competition. Lokesh anyway wanted to oust me for many years. In the end, they successfully sent me to YCP’ Kesineni said.
The Vijayawada MP said he will definitely win the Vijayawada MP seat no matter if his brother Kesineni Chinni or even Chandrababu himself contests. He predicts his majority will be in the range of 3 lakh.
