Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan claimed that he had to pull through a lot of verbal apprehensions from central BJP leaders to consolidate the triangular alliance between Telugu Desam, Janasena, and BJP. Even after the materialization of the alliance, there is an additional burden on Pawan Kalyan, and here’s why.
AP BJP has somehow managed to allocate 10 MLA and 6 MP seats for itself. But when it comes to star campaigners who can pull massive crowds and campaign for these candidates, the BJP has none in AP. So, this burden will naturally fall on Pawan Kalyan as he is the one who proposed the alliance in the first place.
Pawan was anyway an ally of BJP for the last few years but his responsibility got escalated after the formation of the alliance. So apart from campaigning in the 21 MLA and 2 MP seats that JSP got, Pawan will additionally have to campaign in BJP’s 10 MLA and 6 MP segments.
But as Pawan rightly pointed out, this alliance isn’t for the political gains of these three parties but for the collective good of AP people. So, he must have already kept himself mentally prepared for an intense and draining campaign in AP.
