Telugu Desam Party announced its third list of MLA and MP candidates last afternoon and there are some tough exclusions in the list, including Alapati Raja, Devineni Uma, MS Raju, Undavalli Sridevi, and others. But Chandrababu came into action very swiftly and started damage control action within a day before the arrival of the third list.
Naidu reportedly met Alapati Raja who sacrificed the Tenali MLA ticket for JSP and was hoping to get compensated with Guntur West ticket, and explained that it was tough to leave him out but had to be done for the alliance prospects. Raja reportedly replied he is never after electoral posts and will work tirelessly for the party no matter if he gets the ticket or not.
MS Raju who had his sight on Bapatla MP ticket also met Chandrababu an he was promised a right alternative once the alliance comes to power again. Raju expressed his confidence in Naidu and vowed to work for TDP’s cause.
Chandrababu largely managed to settle whatever disgruntlement that was there after the announcement of the third list.
