TMC MP’s ‘Search’ Satire On BJP After CBI Raids

CBI raids Trinamool’s Mahua Moitra’s Kolkata home in a cash-for-query case just a day after CBI registered an FIR against the MP.

Mahua Moitra was expelled from Lok Sabha in December last year. The anti-corruption body Lokpal recommended that Mahua be removed after being accused of taking bribes from businessman Darshan Hiranandani in exchange for asking questions critical of the Narendra Modi government in Parliament.

After the raids were conducted, Mahua Moitra tweeted a satire on the BJP, ‘The CBI came home & to my election offices today. Were very polite. Searched. Found nothing. Meanwhile
@sayani06 & I still searching for BJP candidates against us.’

She posted a picture of herself holding binoculars like she was searching for something.
