Jr NTR Out Of Politics, But Politics Not Out of Jr NTR

Star hero Jr NTR is busy with his acting commitments of late as he has been entirely focused on making larger-than-life films. The Nandamuri hero has clearly established his motive to stay away from politics for the time being. But despite NTR deserting politics, he is still in the news when the discussion is about the Telugu Desam Party. 

Now that the AP election season has fired up, Jr NTR is again in the news. Interestingly, NTR’s imagery was seen in the election campaigns of TG Bharat and Kodali Nani.

In TG Bharat’s nomination rally in Kurnool, the flexis of NTR caught the attention instantly. They had to the term “Raboye Kaalaniki Kaboye CM” imprinted on them. 

But the use of NTR’s image wasn’t confined just to Telugu Desam. Even YSR Congress forces, led by Kodali Nani’s group in Gudivada used NTR’s flexis in their election campaign. These flexes and banners had mutual images of Jr NTR and Kodali Nani.

Despite NTR’s reluctance to stay anywhere in close vicinity to politics, he is still an important figure in the geopolitical map of Andhra Pradesh and the aforementioned incidents are clear testaments of the fact. This has led to a common comment “NTR might be out of the political scene, but the political attention will always be on him.”
