CM Jagan’s initial response to the alliance manifesto was one of disdain. He criticized it as a compilation of falsehoods and questioned why the photos of the coalition parties’ leaders were absent.
“Three parties are in this together, yet only Chandrababu and Pawan’s images were featured. Why wasn’t Modi’s included for the BJP?” he queried, suggesting that Modi’s exclusion indicated a lack of faith in the manifesto’s implementation. Jagan highlighted the manifesto’s delayed release and accused it of lacking substance, contrasting it with his administration’s tangible achievements.
He lambasted Chandrababu for merely criticizing him without presenting substantial ideas, accusing him of recycling old promises and offering minimal innovation. Jagan also dismissed the notion that the alliance could fulfill its pledges, deriding Chandrababu’s claims as improbable.
