Today, Mudragada escalated his criticism, In a bold move, Mudragada declared his intent to change his name from Padmanabha to Padmanabha Reddy if he fails to defeat Pawan, in Pithapuram.

He continued his criticism against film personalities entering politics, questioning Pawan’s choice to contest from Pithapuram and demanding clarity on his local connections. Mudragada’s provocative challenge to alter his name in case of failure has stirred controversy, with many Kapu leaders arguing that Mudragada’s association with the YSRCP party is not digestible to their community.
