Barring a single public show along with Chandrababu and Pawan Kalyan, BJP’s main campaigner Narendra Modi was nowhere to be seen in the AP election campaign. This gave space to YCP to spread their propaganda that Modi is not inclined towards the TDP+ alliance in AP.
But Modi has finally taken matters into his own hands as he interacted with a Telugu media outlet last night and debriefed on the TDP+ alliance in Andhra Pradesh.
Modi acknowledged the need to have regional representation on the national level and added that is why BJP readily formed an alliance with TDP and Janasena. He said the TDP+ alliance in AP is a calculated one and stressed the point that the allegiance with the TDP goes beyond political borders. He noted that NDA already has enough MP prospects but the idea was to bring a regional force like TDP into the fray for more diversification.
Modi was well-rounded in his approach to addressing the key pointers of the alliance. He infused the right positive energy into the alliance right before the election and this should further energize the followers of the alliance.
