Former MP Kalvakuntla Kavitha won the MLC elections with a decent majority and so the TRS party is in a celebratory mood. When the results were declared, Kavitha was in Nizamabad and in the evening, she reached Hyderabad.
Kavitha went directly to Pragathi Bhavan and met her father and Telangana CM KCR. She took the blessings of KCR by touching his feet. Before Kavitha, many TRS leaders reached Pragathi Bhavan and after her arrival and meeting with KCR, they congratulated her.
Later this week, Kavitha is likely to take oath as MLC and then KCR is said to be in thoughts of cabinet reshuffle. But as the TRS government cabinet is full-fledged one, KCR should remove a minister in order to accommodate Kavitha.
How will sacrifice for Kavitha is yet to be seen but no minister is said to be ready to get down from minister job.
