Narendra Modi has won from the constituency for two consecutive terms in 2014 and 2019. Modi is contesting against Congress candidate Ajay Rai and BSP candidate Ather Jamal Lari.
Ajay Rai is leading from Varanasi in UP by nearly 5,000 votes. Modi is trailing by nearly 6,000 votes.
