Pithapuram Varma Attacked! Varma Alleges Tea Time Uday Is Behind It

Pithapuram TDP in charge Varma was attacked in Vannepudi village of Gollaprolu Mandal. When Varma went to visit the village to thank the supporters for the win, his car was attacked with bottles, stones, and bricks.

Varma says he escaped with minor injuries as there are about 150 TDP members around him. Meanwhile, Varma alleges that Thangella Uday Srinivas (tea time Uday) is behind the attacks and he has been provocating the group towards attacking him for the last six months. Varma clarifies that this has nothing to do with Pawan Kalyan or Janasena.

Varma further alleges that the attackers are who shifted their base from TDP and joined Janasena recently. Varma says this is not just an attack on his vehicle but an attempted murder.

The TDP in charge says he does not have any action plan now except to wait for the police to respond to the incident. When asked why these attacks are happening, Varma said, ‘It is our fate.’
