Andhra Pradesh’s ex-chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is still contemplating his YCP’s humiliating defeat in the recent assembly election. He is holding multiple review meetings with his cadres and party candidates. In his latest meeting, Jagan reportedly made a shocking comment about the electoral trends and his completely different assessment of things.
Reportedly, Jagan called for a meeting with his party contestants today and said “We collected 17 lakh samples from the public before the election and also after the election. But the verdict we got from these samples was completely different. We couldn’t see this sort of anti-incumbency in these trends.”
Apparently, Jagan relied on the 17 lakh samples that he collected and assessed the election based on these trends which proved to be insanely wrong. Probably, these surveys must have done a grave mistake, else, not sensing anti-incumbency while the party was in a position to win just 11 out of the 175 seats simply doesn’t add up.
