KTR’s First Comment In Support Of TDP Post Poll

Prior to the Andhra Pradesh election, both KCR and KTR used to confidently say that they believe YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is coming to power in AP. But this prediction went horribly wrong and the TDP+ alliance toppbled the Jagan government here.

Getting to the crux of the proceedings, KTR has delivered his first comment on the political scene in Andhra Pradesh as he appeared to be impressed with the way TDP is operating. He linked TDP’s good work presiding the electoral mandate to the stalling of Vizag steel plant privatization.

“After TDP+ came to power in an enterprising manner, and the party secured 16 MP seats, they could stop the privatization of the Vizag steel plant. They leveraged their MPs strength to stall an anti-public development. But here in Telangana, after Congress and BJP are given 8 MP seats each, the first thing they are doing is selling Singareni coal. This is clearly against the public’s wishes.” KTR remarked.

KTR has evidently altered his stance after the AP election result as he seems to be cushioning a prospective attempt to be in good terms with TDP.
