The One Hug That Changed Andhra Pradesh’s Fate

After the questionable arrest of Chandrababu Naidu last year, there was a huge outcry from all quarters of the common public. But the real consolidation of the pro-opposition wave started immediately after Pawan Kalyan joined hands with Lokesh and Balakrishna to announce the TDP-JSP alliance. And this was symbolically seen with a warm hug in the assembly and here is a look into the story.

And then, after Chandrababu’s release, he comprehended Pawan’s unconditional support and devised a winning election campaign along with the Janasena head.

In the end, Chandrababu, Pawan Kalyan, and BJP consolidated the anti-incumbency wave so very strongly that the alliance won 164/175 seats while YSR Congress was restricted to 11.

After outrightly dominating the AP assembly scene, Pawan and Chandrababu set foot in the assembly today. While this is the first time Pawan is entering the assembly, it is Chandrababu’s 8th time here. But the disparity is nowhere to be seen.

In the assembly today, Pawan and Chandrababu shared a warm hug even before the commencement of the session and they were with bright smiles on their faces. Nevertheless, this is the hug and this is the camaraderie that shifted AP’s verdict entirely in favor of the alliance and changed the state’s mandate.
