It is known that Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan is also the Panchayat Raj minister of the state, apart from being the deputy chief minister. Now, a new report pertaining to an important department under the jurisdiction of Panchayat Raj minister Pawan Kalyan has stared to trend big time on social media.
According to this social media report, the Swachch Andhra department, which falls under Panchayat Raj ministry, and was established by Chandrababu as CM in 2015 has seen a massive outflux of funds.
This department reportedly had Rs 2092 crore funds in 2020-21 when the YCP government was fresh in power. But the very same department has seen a monumental depletion in funds as by the time the YCP government left the offices after losing power in 2024, this department had just Rs 7.04 crore funds.
When Pawan Kalyan asked for a fiscal report on this department he was apparently shocked by the disappearance of all the funds that were here earlier.
A key department related to the Panchayat Raj ministry going from 2000+ crore in 2021 to just Rs 7 crore in 2024 has apparently shocked Pawan. He reportedly called for a detailed report on the fiscal transactions regarding the outflux of the funds. A detailed investigation could be commissioned soon.
