The keenly anticipated meeting between the two chief ministers of the twin Telugu states, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, is happening this evening in Hyderabad. The coming together of Chandrababu Naidu and Revanth Reddy is going to be closely observed by the Telugu states’ population.

Telangana could ask for a share in the coastline.
Revanth could push for Telangana’s representation in TTD to have a say in the powerful board that looks after the Tirumala shrine.
Andhra Pradesh companies owe over Rs 24,000 crore to Telangana power companies, and common ground could be found on settling these dues at the earliest.
Other than these logistical points, Chandrababu and Revanth could strive for a cordial relationship between the Telugu states. Previously, when YCP and BRS were in power, though Jagan and KCR had an understanding, certain BRS and YCP leaders indulged in ugly verbal wars. That should not be the case with the two new governments now in charge.
More importantly, it must be a pleasant sight for Chandrababu to see his protégé Revanth Reddy as Telangana CM.
