The Union Health ministry in its daily briefing claimed that the Corona cases recovery rate has jumped to 25.19 percent what was just 13.06 percent about two weeks back. Simultaneously the doubling rate of cases has now increased to 11 days while fatality rate is at 3.2 percent.
The health ministry has revised the cases, death tally and discharged people. The total number of positive cases in India now stands at 33610 which includes 24162 active cases. 8373 people have cured, discharged and 1075 people have died.
Punya Salila Srivastava, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Home Affairs stated the Telangana has adequate number of PPE and kits. On the number of samples being tested by the state, Punya claimed that the state is using an end-to-end IT dashboard to track patients right from testing to discharge.
