Viral: CM’s Convoy Meets With Accident On Busy Road

Usually, when the chief minister’s convoy is passing through main roads, the traffic will be regulated and the path will be cleared much in advance of the convoy’s arrival. But there are a few CMs who don’t like to disturb public commute and prefer to have their convoy passing along with the public.

However, this very generosity of Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan, who wants his convoy to pass along with the public, nearly cost him very heavily as his convoy was involved in a substantial road accident.

In a video that is going viral on social media, the Kerala CM’s convoy is seen in a major collision. As many as 5 vehicles, including the car carrying the CM, got strangled in a road collision.

This incident happened at Vamanapuram Park Junction, Thiruvananthapuram when the CM’s convoy was passing along with the public. When a scooter rider came in front of the pilot vehicle, brakes were applied abruptly which meant other succeeding cars in the convoy lost grip and collided. The CM’s car was also hit in this accident.

The security personnel immediately surrounded the premises and cleared the traffic. That being said, not often do we see the CM’s car in a collision and this must have been a strange sight for the locals. Luckily, the CM esaped unscathe in the accident and quickly passed along.
