TTD new chairman BR Naidu took a positive and heroic decision to build confidence among the Hindu devotees of Lord Venkateswara when he revealed his agenda. He said that removing non-Hindus staffers from the TTD tops his agenda and would take measures regarding the same by holding discussion with the state government.
He said that steps will be taken to accommodate the non-Hindus into other government departments or some other process will be taken up.
In 2017, an exclusive report was submitted to the state government stating about the non-Hindus in TTD, along with evidences.
Following the report, the government took up investigation into the issue and found that there are 44 non-Hindus working in the TTD.
The issue created a sensation across the nation too but nothing tangible was done regarding their removal, Naidu said.
Since then, the issue was shelved and none of the TTD chairmen who assumed charge had taken action about it.
So, the new TTD chairman said that he would take some concrete steps regarding purging the TTD and preserving Sanatana Dharma on the premises of the temples, under the TTD’s governance.
