YSRCP MP Vijay Sai Reddy is the new regional coordinator of the Uttarandhra region. He will replace YV Subba Reddy. On this note, he called for an internal meeting with all stakeholders today. After the meeting, he addressed the media. While speaking with media, Vijay Sai Reddy mentioned that their party will sweep the upcoming 2027 elections.
Speaking with the media, Vijay Sai Reddy mentioned that the number of Assembly seats in Uttar Andhra is expected to rise from 34 to 44 in the near future. However, he expressed strong confidence that the YSRCP would secure victory in all these constituencies in the upcoming elections.
“There will be women’s reservation and depending on the delimitation and other aspects, we will devise our own strategies to ensure a big victory in the next general elections. Just like how we won 151 constituencies in 2019, we will ensure victory in 215 out of 225 constituencies in the next elections,” he said.
Vijay Sai Reddy affirmed his commitment to addressing the issues faced by the Uttar Andhra region. He pointed out that their efforts were instrumental in halting the privatization of the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant. However, he criticised AP CM Chandra Babu Naidu of his indirect support in privitising Visakha Steel Plant.
At the same time, Vijay Sai Reddy revealed that he will soon announce their plan of action.
