RRR Comeback: A Story For The Ages

Not so long ago, former MP from YCP, Raghu Rama Krishna Raju was not even in a favorable position to the Andhra Pradesh, fearing illicit arrest. He was absolutely tormented by ex CM Jagan Mohan Reddy to the degree that despite being a sitting MP, RRR was arrested by AP CID and tortured all night long.

However, RRR being RRR, did not bow to Jagan’s tyranny and stood strong against him. He waited for the right time to counterpunch and timed it perfectly as he quit YCP and joined TDP ahead of the 2024 polls. He then won Undi by a thumping majority and was rightly awarded the deputy speaker post last night.

After being tormented by Jagan for 5 years and not even allowed to enter AP at free will, RRR now walks the corridors of the AP assembly, being ranked one of the top men of the house considering that he is the deputy speaker.

He was earlier hopeful of bagging the speaker post and that didn’t happen due to permutations and combinations but CM Babu never forgot RRR’s good work and rightly rewarded him with deputy speaker post now.

Had it been any other person, he probably might not have tolerated the relentless suppression of Jagan. But again, RRR didn’t faze and ran the show from Delhi, using his MP position and utilizing his top contacts in central BJP.

Today, RRR is one of the better-performing MLAs in AP as he is said to be sorting sanitation, roadway, and other government projects at the rate of knots in Undi.

Even party wise, he is receiving all possible support at TDP as he is getting to meet the likes of Chandrababu, Lokesh, and Nandamuri Balakrishna freely, which wasn’t even remotely the case with Jagan while he was in YCP.

Somewhere down the line, if Jagan actually comes to the assembly which is unlikely but not out of the equation, and RRR happens to be the speaker of the house in the absence of main speaker Ayyannapatrudu, this would be a cinematic scene. Jagan seated in the assembly in front of RRR with the mic being in the latter’s hand would be the kind of stuff that nightmares are made of for YCP followers.

RRR has scripted a comeback for the ages and this has been a story of perseverance, determination, and the strong will to take on opposition regardless of the hostile situations. This is what separates the main men from the rest of the ordinary folk.
