One of the main victims of the gross misuse of power in the YCP tenure was their own MP Raghu Rama Krishna Raju who was illicitly nabbed by the AP CID. Shortly after his arrest, RRR was held at an undisclosed location and allegedly put him through custodial torture.
RRR filed a court case against the same a few months back and cut to now, there is some substantial progress with regard to the case.
The primary step of the investigation on the RRR custodial torture case has gotten underway with former additional SP of AP CID, Vijay Paul appearing for investigation today.
Vijay Paul is reportedly being investigated at the SP Office in Prakasham and he is being questioned about the facts pertaining to the arrest of ex-MP Raghu Rama. The police are reportedly questioning the former CID officer about the series of incidents when RRR was arrested and put through custodial torture back in May 2021.
Vijay Paul is named A4 in the case pertaining to the custodial torture and it has to be seen if he would reveal any consolidated information regarding the same.
