The voting for Dubbaka by-poll is underway from morning 7 AM at the constituency. The Election Commission has arranged a total of 315 polling booths in the constituency while the poll panel has identified 89 sensitive polling booths where there are high chances of disruption.
Dubbaka has 1,00,778 women voters while men voters are 97,978 and the total number of voters goes up to 1,98,756. The EC has deployed 2000 staff across all polling booths while 3000 police and others are arranged for the security.
From the TRS, Solipeta Sujatha is contesting while Raghunandan Rao and Cheruku Sudhakar Reddy are contesting from BJP and Congress respectively. 20 more candidates are contesting from other parties.
Also the phase two of Bihar Assembly elections is also underway. 94 constituencies are in the poll fray in this second phase.
