RGV Stands By His Word: ‘Still Loves Jagan’

Controversial film director Ram Gopal Varma is being pursued by AP police for his highly objectionable posts against Chandrababu, Pawan Kalyan, and Lokesh back when Jagan was in power. As a result, he has been evading the police and occasionally dropping media interviews and social media posts.

In one such interview, Varma was asked about the nature of the posts that he shared against Babu, Pawan, and Lokesh in the past and he gave strange replies. To most of these questions, Varma replied that he doesn’t remember sharing such posts on Twitter as he tried an escapism tactic.

Then, Varma was asked about the public perception on him that he is a hardcore follower of Jagan and absolutely adores the YCP boss. This is when Varma turned candid and gave an interesting reaction.

“I have said this many times in the past and I am saying it again. I like Jagan Mohan Reddy. ‘Naku Jagan ante ishtam.’ I don’t know about the way he ruled or governed. But I like his character a lot. I stand by my word on this aspect” Varma said.

Varma who rarely speaks well of a person, let alone likes him, now adoring Jagan Mohan Reddy is coming across as an uncanny phenomenon. The reason behind this is leaving everyone puzzled and amused.

Notably, Varma had directed many propaganda films like Lakshmi’s NTR, Kamma Rajyamlo Kadapa Reddlu and others against TDP back when YCP was in power. Now that he has started to face police action, he is using escapism ploys. It has to be seen how far this entertaining saga will go in the future.
