In the recent past, Tirumala has been the focal point of several political discussions in Andhra Pradesh. Starting with the Tirumala laddu contamination issue, to Pawan Kalyan’s recent comment that YS Jagan ran TTD like a private business, the holy Tirumala shrine had to endure a lot of political commentary, which shouldn’t be the ideal case scenario.
Cut to now, the new chairman of TTD BR Naidu, along with the TTD Board has passed a new resolution which bans political speeches at Tirumala henceforth.
In this context, Naidu issued a social media communication today as he wrote, TTD has decided to ban political and hate speeches in Tirumala to protect the sanctity and spiritual peace of Tirumala.
In the sacred Tirumala divine temple, which always reverberates with Govinda Namas, in recent times, some of the persons and political leaders after the darshan in Tirumala temple, made political and hate statements before the media in front of the temple, disturbing the spiritual atmosphere in Tirumala.
In this context, the TTD board has taken a decision to ban political and hate speeches in Tirumala to protect its sanctity.
TTD also appeals to everyone to cooperate with its decision and it is informed that legal action will also be taken by TTD against the violators.
So starting today, anyone found making political comment in Tirumala will have to face legal action as this rule is bound to be enforced in a strict manner.
