“Aasthulu Laakkovadam Jagan Ki Alavaate”

After having lost power in this year’s elections, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is facing pressure from all quarters. On one side, the NDA government is unearthing the financial irregularities from the previous YCP tenure, and on the other hand, YS Sharmila is ridiculing Jagan on all fronts with her straight questions.

This time, Sharmila has made a very striking and appropriate comment against Jagan as she sai “Aasthulu lakkovadam Jagan ki alavaate” which translates to “Jagan is used to grabbing and stealing properties.”

Sharmila appears to have made this comment on a political level and also at a personal capacity, given that he she had been openly claiming that Jagan is illicitly holding the assets that rightfully belong to her.

The AP Congress chief targeted her brother by saying he abused power to sell of ports that belong to the AP government.

Sharmila questioned Jagan about the audacity to sell Gangavaram Port which bring Rs 2000 crore profits per year to Adani group in 2021. To make it worse, a 10% stake in the port that has market value of Rs 9000 crore was sold off for just Rs 640 crores.

Sharmila noted that the Jagan government had grossly misused the Kakinada and Krishnapatnam Ports as well. She then fired on the NDA government for not taking action on Jagan for these inappropriate actions back when he was the CM. She called for strict measures against the main operators of these irregularities in the Jagan regime.
