As announced by the NDA government a few days ago, Konidela Naga Babu will soon be roped into the Andhra Pradesh Cabinet. But as it turns out, this appointment process could take a bit longer than expected initially.
This topic reportedly came to discussion in principal while CM Chandrababu Naidu and deputy CM Pawan Kalyan met yesterday. While it is confirmed that Naga Babu will be given a cabinet position, the timeline of the appointment is being sorted out now.
There is indeed the option to allocate the cabinet position to Naga Babu immediately, and then validate the same by giving him nominated post(MLC). However, it appears that the NDA government is taking the conventional route here and wants to allocate the nominated position to Naga Babu first, and then include him in the cabinet.
The upcoming MLC election in Andhra Pradesh is scheduled to happen in March coming year. The chances are that Naga Babu could be announced as one of the MLC candidates on NDA behalf, where his nomination is a mere formality.
Once this box is ticked, Naga Babu could then be roped into the Andhra Pradesh Cabinet at an MLC capacity. While this process might look like a straightforward one, it surely is a time taking development.
It appears to be that the phrase “Konidela Nagababu Aney Nenu” from Nagababu’s swearing in ceremony will be heard only after coming March. Meanwhile, there is an active discussion on the ministry that the mega brother will be given by the NDA government. There’s a social media talk that he could be given the cinematography ministry.
