The Sandhya theatre episode is not looking like it will die down in the near future. The issue has gotten so very serious that chief minister Revanth Reddy and his cabinet ministers are actively debating the same, almost every single day.
On this matter, Cinematography Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy said Allu Arjun is acting like a irresponsible person and claimed that the star hero has no regret for what has happened.
“Allu Arjun was asked not to come to the theatre, but he did anyway. His open top car show drove huge crowds, which resulted in the death of a mother named Revathi while her son is battling for his life. When the police intimated Allu Arjun about this, he still insisted on watching the film This is purely an act of ignorance and negligence” Komatireddy.
Then came the big demand from the cinematography minister, as he stated that all Arjun must compensate the family by paying ₹20 crore.
“They are proudly saying that their film collected ₹2000 crore and 3000 crore. In that case, why can’t they pay the family of the deceased at least ₹20 crore? This is my demand to Arjun, and the makers of that film to pay the family ₹20 crore.” Komatireddy stated.
Must be noted that Allu Arjun pledge to contribute ₹25 lakh to the family and take care of medical expenses as well. However, the Telangana government has already initiated the medical compensation for the family while Komatireddy himself contributed Rs 25 lakh to the family. Now, the demand is such that Allu Arjun must contribute Rs 20 crore to the family.
