For 1st Time After Property Dispute, Jagan Meets Vijayamma

The pre-Christmas festivities have begun in Pulivendula with YSR Congress chief YS Jagan indulging in related activities during his 4-day visit to Kadapa starting today. On the occasion, Jagan went to the YS Ghat in Idupulapaya to offer prayers at YSR memorial.

There was one very interesting incident that happened during Jagan’s visit to Idupulapaya today as he came across his mother, YS Vijayamma.

This is Jagan and Vijayamma’s first public appearance together since the property dispute issue and hence, it packed some significance.

The interaction between Jagan and Vijayamma was a very brief one. In a related video, we see Jagan very briefly impressing Vijayamma and immediately walking away later. They didn’t have a conversation either.

Notably, Jagan had earlier written to the tribunal to return Saraswati Power assets that he had given to Vijayamma which later got transferred to Sharmila. This kickstarted an intense property battle between Jagan and Sharmila, post which, the latter even ended up crying in front of the media.

This was followed by Vijayamma writing an open letter saying Jagan and Sharmila are like two eyes for her and she can’t pick one over the other. But at the same time, she called for a fair and square distribution of family assets. After this hiatus, Jagan and Vijayamma made their first public appearance together today.
