Adari Joins BJP: Kutami Leaders Shocked!

One of the core principles that are being followed by the Telugu Desam party and Janasena after the 2024 election is the fundamental distancing from corrupt YCP leaders who are looking to join NDA alliance. Several YCP leaders who don’t have a clean track record have been looking to join TDP and Janasena, but their advancements are being rejected by these two parties.

However, on the other hand, BJP’s Andhra Pradesh win has pulled off a coup of sorts by letting a Vishaka Diary chief and former YCP leader Adari Anand join their party.

Anand had been facing serious corruption allegations in the operations of Vishakha dairy. There are allegations that the diary, which clocks ₹2000 crore revenue was wrongly marked as a loss venture for vested financial gains.

Incidentally, the Andhra Pradesh assembly has formed a house committee to look into the regularities in the Visakha diary operations. The speaker of the House, Ayyannapatrudu constituted a house committee under the leadership of MLA Jyotula Nehru to oversee the investigation process.

Fearing intense legal consequences, the chief of the diary, Adari Anand sought to join TDP or JSP to get political immunity. However, neither of the parties were in approval of this move. He then took evasive action as he readily joined BJP in the presence of Daggubati Purandeshwari and Somu Veerraju.

This abused the Kutami leaders as they are shocked so as to how the BJP could let a leader who is facing such serious allegations join their ranks. On this matter, Ayyannapatrudu said he was intimated about this by AP BJP leaders and when asked the reason why such a person was being encouraged, it was reverted that the decision was made already.

Meanwhile, the alliance followers are disgruntled by this development as they firmly oppose Adari joining BJP.

In this context, Purandeswari commented that BJP will actively encourage anyone who falls in line with their ideologies. About the investigation on the Visakha dairy matter, she said the investigation will go on as he without any changes, regardless of Adari joining BJP. It has to be seen where this political matter will end up now.
