JC vs BJP Clash Not Good For Alliance!

Political tensions have escalated in Anantapur, with leaders from alliance parties exchanging sharp words. The conflict primarily involves former MLA and TDP leader JC Prabhakar Reddy, along with BJP leaders, particularly in the wake of ongoing disputes surrounding the release of fly ash from a power plant in Kadapa. The tension between JC and BJP leader Adinarayana Reddy has been simmering for some time, leading to a full-blown political altercation.

The controversy reached new heights when JC indirectly criticized the BJP, repeatedly bringing up the issue of the fly ash plant. The dispute eventually grew to involve party leaders, with BJP senior leader and Minister Satya Kumar Yadav responding.

What Happened?

On December 31, during the New Year’s celebrations, JC Prabhakar Reddy held an event in Tadipatri. He claimed that special programs for women were organized, but BJP women leaders Madhavilata and Yamini Sharma criticized JC for having women perform dances during these events. They questioned the appropriateness of such activities, which led to JC expressing his strong displeasure.

In response, JC accused BJP leaders of behaving worse than “hijras” and questioned why they were bothered by an event being held in his premises. He further slammed the BJP and RSS, asking why they were getting involved in his local events.

At the same time, JC brought up the “JC Travels” bus fire accident which was allegedly due to short circuit as per initial reports, but JC alleged the BJP’s involvement in the incident. This sparked more political drama and accusations, diverting the controversy into multiple directions.

Satya Kumar Yadav’s Response

In response to JC’s remarks, Minister and BJP leader Satya Kumar Yadav criticized JC for causing unnecessary disruption while the coalition government was delivering good governance. He suggested that JC should speak in a manner befitting his age and questioned the logic behind his accusations. Yadav also pointed out that JC had previously faced numerous allegations regarding his businesses, including the source of his buses, but the BJP had never responded to such allegations.

Yadav emphasized that making baseless comments about the BJP was inappropriate, especially when the coalition government at both the state and central levels was functioning harmoniously. He urged JC not to project personal issues as state-level problems and accused him of unnecessarily dragging the BJP into his personal controversies.
