The political climate in Telangana has been heating up consistently over the last few months. All the three leading parties in the state, namely Congress, BJP, and BRS are indulging in a heated triangular clash.
In this context, a shocking new incident has happened in the Nampalli area of Hyderabad as a clash erupted between Congress and the BJP cadres. This incident happened at the BJP head office in Nampalli.
Allegedly, the Congress leaders threw stones and eggs at the BJP office in Nampalli which resulted in an ugly clash. In a set of viral videos, we see Congress and BJP leader leaders attacking each other with sticks and stones. One person is reportedly injured due to this heated physical clash.
This comes in the context of Ex BJP MP Ramesh Bidhuri’s comments where he said “we will make roads like Priyanka Gandhi’s cheeks.” His implication was perhaps that the roads will be laid in a smooth manner.
This offensive statement from the Former MP from BJP has triggered a serious reaction from the local Congress workforce in Telangana. They turned up at the BJP office in Nampalli as a token of protest, and subsequently a huge clash erupted.
“Congress goons, don’t you dare lay a finger on the BJP office! If BJP cadres choose to act, we can uproot the very foundations of your Congress party office. Strongly condemn the cowardly attack by Congress goons on the BJP State office in Nampally. Our office is a sacred space where women and others work tirelessly – what if they were injured?”, Bandi Sanjay tweeted in this context.
