The delegation of Andhra Pradesh government dead by chief minister Chandrababu and IT Minister Lokesh is currently taking part in the World Economic Forum in Davos. The power duo arrived in Davos yesterday and they’ve already started their innings by setting up crucial meetings in a bid to invite investments to the state.
Incidentally, Chandrababu had his first major meeting in Davos a short while back as he met the representatives of Nippon Steel – Aditya Mittal and Lakshmi Mittal.
ArcelorMittal/Nippon Steel has recently made a landmark investment of ₹1.4 lakh crore for a 17.8-million-ton integrated steel project in Anakapalli. This initiative stands out as one of the largest greenfield projects in recent times, Babu tweeted.
Meeting such high profile individuals and leveraging their massive investments in the state at the global arena could bring in more high profile investments to the state. It is evident that Babu is playing smart with his vision and expertise at Davos.
On the other hand, Lokesh met the representatives of StoneCraft Group and proposed the plan to develop a golf city in the capital region of Amaravati. He promised to expedite the process in just 15 days if the firm intends to set up golf course in Amaravati.
If this gets approved, it could well be the most significant beautification project in Amaravati till now.
It is clear that both Babu and Lokesh are wasting no time in getting things done as they’re already operating in top gear at Davos with successive meetings and inviting investments.
