Revanth Reddy @ Davos: Beyond Expectations

The chief minister of Telangana Revanth Reddy is currently taking part in the World Economic Forum that is happening in Davos, Switzerland. He has been actively setting up meetings with the representatives of global tech and auto giants to attract investments to the state.

If we look at the statistics reported by Telangana till now, the numbers are pretty solid. It really needs to be said that Revanth is punching above his weight at the WEF and getting things done quite well for the state.

As of this morning, Telangana signed MoUs for investments amounting to an impressive Rs 71,800 crore.

₹45,500Cr Sun Petro Chemicals & 7000jobs ₹15,000Cr Megha Engineering & 4250 jobs ₹10,000Cr CtrlS & 3600 jobs
₹800Cr JSW & 200 jobs
₹500Cr Skyroot Aerospace Unilever to setup 2 manufacturing units.

Then came the big move this morning as Amazon Web services pledged to invest ₹60,000 crore in Telangana to develop the cloud infrastructure in the state by the year 2030.

This was again followed by a series of investments today, which has been a busy day for the Telangana delegation led by Revanth Reddy.

₹15,000 Cr by Tillman for a 300 MW Data Center in Hyderabad
₹5,000 Cr by Ursa Clusters for a 100 MW AI Data Hub using hybrid AI chips
₹7,000 Cr by Akshat Greentech for a 6.9 GW Solar Cells & Modules unit
₹4,500 Cr by Blackstone for a 150 MW Data Center with advanced cooling & AI support

Till now, Telangana has attracted investments worth ₹1.32 lakh crore in this Davos summit. This is the biggest ever tally reported in terms of investments in the state till now.

However, these investments are only agreed in principal and they will turn to reality only after certain terms and conditions are agreed upon by the government and the investing parties. But for now, Revanth Reddy really has been putting up some pretty good work at the global arena.
