Jagan’s Mediation Failed, Sai Reddy Submits Resignation

YSR Congress leader Vijaya Sai Reddy, who announced his retirement from politics, completed his final task on Saturday morning by resigning from his Rajya Sabha position. On Saturday, he left his official residence in Delhi and headed to the Vice President’s residence, where he submitted his resignation letter to Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar. The resignation was presented in the official format required by the Speaker. Dhankhar received the resignation and confirmed that further actions would follow.

Meanwhile, YCP MP Guru Murthy visited Sai Reddy’s residence in Delhi for a private meeting. After the meeting, Guru Murthy spoke to the media and mentioned that he had urged Sai Reddy to reconsider his decision to retire from politics. He expressed that Sai Reddy had responded positively to his suggestion, though Guru Murthy said he was unaware of the exact reasons behind Sai Reddy’s decision.

After the meeting, Sai Reddy, accompanied by Guru Murthy, left his residence. However, Sai Reddy, after bidding farewell to Guru Murthy, got into his car and drove directly to the Vice President’s residence. While Guru Murthy spoke to the media outside Sai Reddy’s house, Sai Reddy’s car left without making any public comments. The media attempted to get a response from him, but he simply waved without speaking and continued on his way.
