YSR, KCR Photos In Congress MLA’s House

It has been over a year since Revanth Reddy uprooted the KCR government and formed the Congress government in Telangana. In the period, he had been largely successful in containing the group politics in Congress and also keeping all the seniors in check which is not an easy task by any means.

But slowly, cracks are starting to appear with seniors, coming out and expressing their own ideologies. In one such incident Congress veteran Danam Nagender made an interesting statement in front of the media, and this has become a talking point.

Nagendra publicly stated that he still has the photos of YS Rajasekhar Reddy and KCR in his house as he shares fond memories with them, and still values them very much. “The time hasn’t come for me to hang Revanth Reddy’s photo in my house, and perhaps it might happen in the future, but not now.” He stated.

Having Rajasekhar Reddy’s photo is perfectly understandable, considering that YSR was the one who first gave a cabinet position to Nagender back in 2009. The in 2018, Nagender moved to BRS and won twice as an MLA, where he forged a good bond with KCR. But strangely, he again moved back to congress in 2024 under Revanth’s leadership. Now, he says he has YSR and KCR photos in his house.

It must be noted that Nagender, despite being with Congress now, stood against the government and HYDRAA regarding the Chintalbasti illegal constructions eradication. He appears to be at crossroads with his own Congress government in this regard.
