Lokesh In Delhi To Thank For 9000 Cr Allocation to AP Railways

A couple of days after Chandrababu Naidu toured Delhi as a part of the local election campaign, it is now the turn of IT minister Nara Lokesh to tour the national capital. Lokesh arrived in Delhi earlier and he has now met with union Railway Minister, Ashwini Vaishnav.

This crucial meeting between Lokesh and the union and Railway Minister comes a day after the railway ministry made a significant allocation of 9417 Crore Rs to Andhra Pradesh’s railway network.

Lokesh was accompanied by his colleagues, Ram Mohan Naidu and Pemmasani Chandrasekhar on this visit to the railway minister office.

Usually, it is chief minister Chandrababu Naidu, who goes on official visits to Delhi on the behalf of the government of Andhra Pradesh. But for a pleasant change, now, it is Lokesh who has taken up this responsibility as he arrived in the national capital and is projected to meet a few union ministers.

Amidst growing speculations about the increased prominence for Lokesh and the government capacity having positive reinforcement at the central level is of quintessential importance. Brief trips like the one today could come a long way in preparing the foundation for the same.
