Jagan’s Immediate Task Is To Address ‘Senior’ Issues!

Jagan

After concluding his visit to London, YSRCP Chief Jagan has returned to Bengaluru and then to Tadepalli. He has been away from party activities for nearly 15-20 days. Now that he is back, Jagan is expected to hold a meeting with party leaders. However, regardless of whether Jagan holds any meetings or not, senior leaders have stated that there is one crucial thing he must do first. They suggest that Jagan should address the ongoing issues involving senior party leaders.

The matter at hand concerns two senior leaders: Vijay Sai Reddy and Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy. Sai Reddy, who had resigned from his Rajya Sabha seat, left a gap that needs to be immediately filled. Furthermore, there are no senior leaders currently handling critical responsibilities in the North Andhra region, and there is no one to represent the party at the national level in crucial situations. Senior leaders are urging that the position left by Sai Reddy must be quickly filled.

On the other hand, Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy, the senior leader from Punganur and a prominent figure in the YSRCP, has been facing legal issues. Two major cases are currently under investigation: 1) The Madanapalle file burning case, and 2) Encroachment and construction a farmhouse in forest land. With these issues intensifying, Peddireddy has found himself in a tough spot.

While he has been critical of the coalition government, internally, he is said to be distressed. Party leaders emphasize the need to stand by him at this time, as abandoning senior leaders like Peddireddy could lead to other senior leaders distancing themselves from the party in the future.

Given the situation, party leaders are advising Jagan to focus on resolving these two issues immediately to strengthen the party. It remains to be seen how successful he will be in addressing these challenges.
