YSR Congress Party (YCP) President and former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Jagan, has recently flown to Bengaluru after spending the last five years trolling Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan as non-resident Andhra people. However, the issue here is that Jagan has left the YCP in disarray while happily embarking on his latest trip to Bengaluru.
YCP is in absolute chaos following the departure of Vijaya Sai Reddy and the continuous exodus of senior leaders. To make matters worse, Sharmila has arrived in Andhra Pradesh and immediately criticized Jagan, accusing him of speaking about character and credibility while attempting to seize properties belonging to her children.
On the other hand, senior MLA Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy is embroiled in a legal mess after a subcommittee was formed to investigate allegations of him occupying a reserve forest.
Another YCP leader and former MP, MVV Sathyanarayana, faces legal action, with the Enforcement Directorate (ED) attaching his illegally occupied lands in Visakhapatnam. He is likely to face prosecution soon.
While YCP is in turmoil in Andhra Pradesh, Jagan flew off to Bengaluru and even attended a wedding reception of a local MLA’s daughter in Yelahanka. This lethargic approach by the YCP chief is likely to push his own party cadres into further disarray. While Jagan has promised a “Jagan 2.0” to the people, the reality seems quite different.
