WhatsApp Governance: Blockbuster First Week

One of the flagship implementations of IT Minister, Nara Lokesh is the revolutionary WhatsApp governance model, which brings 161 civil services at the comfort of fingertips for the people of Andhra Pradesh.

It has been a week since this WhatsApp model came into effect in Andhra Pradesh and going by the statistics it has gotten enough to a blockbuster start.

In the very first week of this operation, 2,64,555 transactions were made by the public. This includes a wide range of services, including Electricity bill payment, endowments, Aadhar documentation, and others.

The natural expectation was that this revolutionary and flagship model would slowly grow on the users with time. But surprisingly, it has registered significant number of transactions in the opening week itself. It can only get better with the time as more and more people will start using this virtual service at the comfort of their homes.

Now, all facilities like darshan, puja, donations, accommodation, travel etc. can be availed through WhatsApp Governance in important temples like Vijayawada Durgamma Temple, Srisailam, Srikalahasti, Simhachalam, Annavaram, Dwarakathirumala.

Minister Lokesh has already revealed that the second upgrade on this project will bring more services and once that is done, the number of users will also go up substantially.
