Horrifying: Acid Attack On AP Girl On V Day, CM Babu Responds

The Valentine’s Day usually comes with romantic and energetic vibe for couples. However, in a complete contrast to this theme and a horrifying incident in itself, a shocking development unfolded in the Annamayya district of Andhra Pradesh.

Going into the story, a young woman who will remain unnamed here for privacy reasons is supposed to get married on April 28 was attacked by a youth named Ganesh who is not in approval of the marriage.

Ganesh went psychotic after he came to know that the lady was getting married and he committed an extreme crime today, on the occasion of Valentine’s Day.

As per locals, he first attacked the woman on her head and neck with a knife and threw acid on her face. She sustained injuries to her head and her face got burnt due to the acid that was thrown at her.

The exact motive behind the attack is yet to be confirmed, but initial investigations suggest it may be linked to personal issues.

Locals who witnessed the attack rushed the injured woman to Madanapalle Government Hospital for treatment, later officials shifted her to Bengaluru for better treatment. Police have launched an investigation, registered a case and special teams formed to apprehend the accused.

The incident has reached chief minister Chandrababu Naidu, and he is absolutely gutted by the same. He has ordered immediate medical intervention for the victim and restrict action against the culprit for this heinous crime.
