Viral Cartoon: Eenadu Trolls Jagan’s Jail Visit

Former chief minister of Andhra Pradesh YS Jagan is arriving in Vijayawada today to meet the jailed YSR Congress leader Vallabhaneni Vamsi. This comes days after Vamsi was arrested in an SC/ST kidnap case and was sentenced to remand by the Vijayawada SC/ST court.

In this context, Eenadu has come up with a cartoon that satirically mocks the jail visit of Jagan to meet Vamsi. This cartoon is now trending on social media, and here is looking into the same.

The cartoon that was published today establishes that the only way for YCP leaders to meet Jagan is by getting caught in crimes and antisocial activities and go to jail. Only then will Jagan take the time to meet them in jail.

This satirically points out that Jagan is reluctant to meet his party leaders under usual circumstances, but somehow finds the morale to meet them whenever they are jailed. This cartoon, in the context of Jagan’s visit to Vijayawada jail had become a topic of discussion on social media now.
